1969 Camaro Pro-Touring Convertible

Camaro Pro-Touring Convertible. I purchased this in October of 2017. It still needed quite a bit of additional work/welding in order to get it to its current, rolling state. After purchase, Guy Reid of Guys Custom Restorations started working on it. There were hundreds of hours of painstaking measurements, additional bracing and welding done in order to ensure that everything lined up properly. Guy also installed Detroit Speed mini-tubs along with a Ridetech 4-Link kit with a brand new Currie Ford 9-Inch rear (3.50). The 6.2L LS3/L99 engine and 6L80E automatic transmission came out of 2010 Camaro SS that got hit in the rear end. The driveline has only 51 miles on it. The body of the car was basically built from scratch by Brian Johnston of Screamin' Performance. Numerous new panels were used. This is a rust free project, similar to a rust free Dynacorn or Real Deal Steel body, but it's still a true 1969 Camaro convertible. Guy Reid picked up where Brian Johnston left off and installed the mini-tubs, the 4-link rear suspension, Hotchkis sub-frame connectors and completed the fitment and welding of numerous areas. Extensive bracing was installed inside the car for stability in order to ensure proper panel fitment and alignment. We have left this bracing welded inside the car. As you can see, there are tens of thousands of dollars in parts, not to mention the intrinsic value of the body itself and the cost of the many hundreds of hours of labor. In short, this is a high-end project with a lot of value.
