Ford Roadster . FOR SALE- The Historic Bill Peterson Roadster. Here's your chance to own one of the most-significant and most-beautiful 32" Fords of all-time! Built in 1955 by Bill Peterson and Dee Wescott. Portland Roadtser Show Hall of Fame car. Featured in Hotrod magazine September 1957. Bill Peterson traded the roadster in 1958 to Bob Tindle (Orange Crate 32" sedan) for a brand new 58 Impala. Bob Tindle won Oakland Roadster show in 1959. Featured again in September 1960 Hotrod mag as the cover and centerfold car after winning Oakland. It received a $150,000 cosmetic, no-expense-spared 5-year resto by one of the best builders in the world Mr. Dale Withers. Every internal mechanical part throughout the driveline is fresh and new. The attention to detail is second to none! The car has not been driven on the street since. 1947 Merc Flathead, 39 trans and a 1940 Ford rear differential. The car now has wide whites like it had when Bill Peterson owned it. I also have an extra restored set of wheel with real NOS U.S. Royal Master tires if you want the Oakland Roadster show look.
